Ilhan Omar has made a name for herself by saying outrageous things.
But this time she’s in trouble like never before.
And it’s all because her newest ally made things ten times worse for her with this outrageous comment.
Ilhan Omar is the most radical member of Congress who for some reason, can’t keep her mouth shut when it comes to peddling absurd conspiracy theories.
From attacking Jewish Americans to alleging that Trump White House officials are white supremacists, Omar has made a name for herself as one of the most outspoken, and often wrong, members of Congress.
Everything she’s talked about has been a lie.
But worse yet, she doesn’t seem to know when to stop.
Once a day, Omar will say something ridiculous and get hammered for it by critics.
But then the next day she will turn around and dive head-first into a brand new controversy with no regard for her own credibility or her party’s image.
And now, Omar has allies coming to her aid after months of being attacked for her comments.
There’s just one problem though.
One of those allies is Louis Farrakhan.
Farrakhan, the noted racist and leader of the radical “Nation of Islam” movement, is now defending Omar’s comments about 9/11 simply being “some people did something.”
She couldn’t have asked for a worse ally to defend her.
Farrakhan, who has called Jews “termites,” and has routinely attacked the United States of America and even Christianity, has now emerged as the most vocal defender of some of Omar’s most ridiculous claims.
And the results are devastating.
The Daily Caller has the story, “The Nation of Islam’s research group Tuesday morning appeared to publish a video on Twitter that alleged 9/11 was a hoax orchestrated by the U.S. government. It was narrated by leader Louis Farrakhan in an attempt to demonstrate the group’s support for Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar.”
“3,133 Scientists Back Ilhan Omar on 9/11 Deep skepticism exists about the gov’t version of 9/11. Many experts—architects & engineers—say the World Trade Center Towers were destroyed in a controlled demolition. Listen to @LouisFarrakhan #IStandWithIlhan,” the tweet reads with the YouTube video link attached.
If you’re under fire for dismissing 9/11 as simply “some people did something,” then the last person you want on your side when the time comes to defend your position is Louis Farrakhan.
Farrakhan is the ultimate huckster in America, enjoying the freedoms that come along with preaching his hatred in the very country he routinely condemns as evil.
And that’s now the man standing up for a member of Congress who has come under fire for her recent statements.
“Omar, who has been backed by many of her progressive colleagues, doubled down on her statement, claiming that the anger is misguided and used to incite violence against her. President Donald Trump weighed in on her statements by tweeting a video of her words combined with cable news coverage from 9/11,” concludes the Daily Caller.
“Back in 2015, Farrakhan claimed that ‘there were many Israelis and Zionist Jews in key roles in the 9/11 attacks’ and claimed that ‘many Jews received a text message not to come to work on September 11.’”
