The final weeks of a Presidential campaign always see both sides empty their quiver and unleash every manner of attack possible.
That may prove to be a major mistake for Democrats.
And now Joe Biden is about to destroy a close ally with this lawsuit.
ABC News like the rest of the fake news media is in the take for Biden.
So-called “mainstream” media outlets openly collude with the Biden campaign to try and defeat Donald Trump.
Fake news outlets now see their mission as pushing a narrative that advances their political agenda.
Americans can no longer trust fake news CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post and other corporate media outlets to inform them about the truth of the day’s events.
But the urge to craft story arcs that help elect Democrats came back to bite ABC who now may face a massive defamation lawsuit for repeating one of Joe Biden’s talking points.
For the last four years the fake news wove a story that Donald Trump was supported by white nationalists lashing out at a changing America.
When Black Lives Matter and Antifa began rioting this summer the fake news began lying about how they were mostly peaceful protestors and the true threats to American safety were white nationalist Trump supporters.
ABC picked up on this theme smearing 17 year-old Kyle Rittenhouse as a white supremacist when reporting on Rittenhouse facing murder charges for shooting two rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin after the rioters attacked him with a skateboard and even fired a warning shot in his direction.
“Rittenhouse, an alleged white supremacist accused of killing two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in the wake of an officer-involved shooting, appeared via Zoom for an Illinois hearing where his attorney contested the teen’s extradition to Wisconsin to face homicide and other charges in connection with the August shootings,” ABC News reported.
Even though the Anti-Defamation League stated that there was no evidence Rittenhouse was a white supremacist ABC cited a Joe Biden campaign video that initially made the false claim as proof.
“Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s campaign has criticized President Donald Trump’s failure to condemn white supremacists. A campaign video featured Rittenhouse on the streets of Kenosha. Attorney Lin Wood, who is helping to raise funds for Rittenhouse’s defense, threatened to sue the Biden campaign for libel on behalf of Rittenhouse in response to the video,” ABC News added.
After the Biden campaign released the video falsely claiming Rittenhouse was a white supremacist his attorney threatened to sue the campaign.
Now that ABC News is recycling this smear ABC could not face accountability in the form of a lawsuit.
