This is a question people have been asking for months.
And still there has been no straight answer to it.
Now, Joe Biden’s answer to this important question just insulted the American people.
Ever since Trump announced Amy Coney Barret as his pick for the next SCOTUS, the left has been losing their collective mind.
The Democrats have been trying everything to stop her nomination.
They made a story about Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s last words to sway the President, but that had no effect.
They threatened Congress, claiming it was unconstitutional to select a justice so close to the election.
Not only was this fact wrong, numerous Presidents before Trump have appointed new justices to the Supreme Court weeks before the election.
Their last line of defense – and the one they’ve dug their heels into – is Joe Biden’s threat to pack the court if Barrett is put into office.
This old bill has regained a new life in the hands of the Democrats.
Originally put into place in 1937 by Franklin D. Roosevelt, “packing the court” would add one extra justice to the Supreme Court for every justice over 70.
Today, that would result in an extra six justices to help Joe Biden swing the decisions made in the Supreme Court.
To use this move today would be a massive grab for power by the Democrats, one that would have lasting consequences.
When asked about their decision to pack the court, Biden and Harris refused to respond.
They did not give the public a solid answer to this important question.
This is insulting for a myriad of reasons.
But it gets worse.
Presumably fed up with the question, Biden responded to reporters with “You’ll know my opinion on court packing when the election is over.”
Not only is this response insulting, it is downright condescending to the American people.
In order to support a candidate, voters should be informed about that candidate’s political decisions and future actions.
By saying that the people would not know his response, Biden essentially told Americans – the same ones who would potentially vote for him – that they were too unintelligent to understand his plans.
In essence, Biden wants people to vote for him without fully understanding where he stands and what he wants to accomplish as President.
How can people actively vote for a candidate they know nothing about?
Worse, how can they vote for a candidate who doesn’t believe voters should know anything about his plans?
Biden is attempting to draw the focus away from his answer to “packing the court” by calling into question Trump’s actions, but this should not be passed over.
If the people are to vote intelligently, they should trust the candidate they are voting for.
