And now Lauren Boebert had some bad news about what schemes Joe Biden still has up his sleeve.
Freshman Congresswoman Lauren Boebert appeared on a panel focused on the Second Amendment at the Conservative Political Action Conference.
Boebert warned the audience that Joe Biden is planning to use executive orders and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to gut the Second Amendment through a regulatory end run of Congress.
“At the end of the day, this is all about control. D.C. wants control of everyone’s life, and I am there to defend our Second Amendment,” Boebert stated.
Boebert went on to tell the attendees that while Biden was targeting their guns, Boebert planned to fight for the Second Amendment rights of all Americans.
“This is not about taking my guns; this is about taking your guns. And I will stand for your God-given rights every single day,” Boebert added.
Boebert rose to prominence in 2020 first when she confronted Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke at a town hall event during his failed Presidential campaign.
At the event Boebert confronted O’Rourke over his proposed scheme to confiscate AR15 firearms.
Months later Boebert defied Colorado’s Democrat Governor Jared Polis’ lockdown and kept her restaurant – the Shooters Grille – open.
That June Boebert defeated five term Republican incumbent Scott Tipton in a primary and then won the General Election despite claims from many in the media that Boebert’s down the line conservatism would put the seat in play.
Boebert was telling the truth about Biden’s plan to attack gun rights through executive orders.
POLITICO recently reported that Biden was considering an executive order imposing mandatory background checks on so-called “ghost guns” – which are homemade firearms that do not have serial numbers.
Biden’s past history in the Obama administration also raises red flags about his intentions to restrict gun rights.
In 2013 the Obama administration Department of Justice launched Operation: Choke Point in which federal investigators pressured banks to cut off financial services to firearms dealers, arms dealers and other disfavored industries.
The Obama administration failed to pass a gun ban and national gun registration database into law and critics believed that since Obama could get his gun grabs through Congress the administration instead tried to shut down gun sales by making it impossible for firearms dealers to process payments or take out loans.
Donald Trump ended this program in 2017.
But many Second Amendment activists worry Biden will resurrect this program now that he is in office.
Biden campaigned on the most extreme anti-gun platform of any President in history.
And now Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is warning Americans that Biden intends to make good on his word to crush Second Amendment rights even if gun control legislation fails in Congress.
