Nancy Pelosi’s destruction has gone completely out of control.
It’s crushing the very people she says she’s trying to help.
Nancy Pelosi is trying to tear down this important piece of black history.
There’s an insane obsession among Democrats with tearing down statues.
The Democratic Party is very much influenced by communism and see humans as dragged down by oppressive societies.
During Russia’s communist revolution many places of cultural significance were destroyed and many cities were renamed.
But while Russia’s past was oppressive, tearing down the statues and the palaces of the tsars did not bring justice and millions of Russians died as the radicals took control.
Nancy Pelosi has given in to the radicals within her own party and is calling for the removal of any confederate statues on the Capital grounds.
“As I have said before, the halls of Congress are the very heart of our democracy. The statues in the Capitol should embody our highest ideals as Americans, expressing who we are and who we aspire to be as a nation,” Pelosi said.
She added “Monuments to men who advocated cruelty and barbarism to achieve such a plainly racist end are a grotesque affront to these ideals,” she continued. “Their statues pay homage to hate, not heritage. They must be removed.”
But the Democrat’s insanity doesn’t stop there.
Boston is thinking about removing a statue which was originally paid for by slaves showing President Abraham Lincoln with a newly freed slave who is rising up, his chain having been broken.
“A petition to remove the statue was spearheaded by an African American man from Boston named Tory Bullock who says he’s been seeing the statue since he was a kid,” WCVB-TV Boston reported. “Bullock says his petition has more than 7,000 signatures and the attention of Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, who Bullock posted is willing to talk about removing it.”
Yet even Bullock, the man trying to get the statue removed doesn’t have a problem with what the statue is trying to represent, he has a problem with the way the statue makes him feel.
“It says that it’s a statue that’s supposed to represent freedom. But, to me, it represents submissiveness. It represents: ‘Know your place, because that’s where you belong.’” Bullock said.
The Boston statue is replica of a statue in Washington, D.C that recently freed slaves paid for in 1876.
Frederick Douglass, a man who escaped slavery and became a notable abolitionist and orator before and after the civil war spoke of the unveiling of the statue.
Douglass said, “We, the colored people, newly emancipated and rejoicing in our blood-bought freedom, near the close of the first century in the life of this Republic, have now and here unveiled, set apart, and dedicated a monument of enduring granite and bronze, in every line, feature, and figure of which the men of this generation may read, and those of after-coming generations may read, something of the exalted character and great works of Abraham Lincoln, the first martyr President of the United States.”
Isn’t that a piece of American History worth remembering?
