It is becoming crystal clear that the American people aren’t buying the impeachment hoax.
This is making life hell for Nancy Pelosi, who has hedged all her bets on it.
And things are even worse for her after she found out the date her career will go down in flames.
Nancy Pelosi was hoping that the day she announced her support for impeachment would be the beginning of the end for President Donald Trump.
At the start, things looked promising for her and the rest of the Democrat Party.
Trump’s approval rating took a noticeable drop, and talking heads in the mainstream media claimed that she would ultimately succeed in removing him from office.
But now that she has finally succeeded in passing two articles of impeachment in the House, the outlook is bleak for her.
Now Trump’s approval rating is hitting new highs, and his fundraising numbers for his re-election campaign are through the roof.
Pelosi is so unsure of herself that she is holding onto the articles of impeachment, contemplating whether she will ever send them to the Senate.
And legal scholars argue that if she refuses to submit them to the Senate, Trump will never have actually been impeached.
So the entire hoax seems to be backfiring on Pelosi in the worst way possible.
Now high-ranking Republicans in the Senate are speaking out, with one even revealing that impeachment will be finished by February 4th, which is the day Trump will address the nation in the State of the Union.
Sen. Roy Blunt of Missouri revealed that the Senate will “be done with [impeachment] by the time the president comes” to address Congress for his State of the Union speech while on Missouri radio station KSSZ.
He went on to state that Pelosi isn’t following the guidelines she set out a year prior about impeachment needing to be bi-partisan.
“Nancy Pelosi said at very start of the year if impeachment wasn’t bipartisan, it wouldn’t work and it clearly was not bipartisan in the House, not a single Republican voted for the articles of impeachment and a couple of Democrats didn’t either,” Blunt said. “That’s not an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote but it certainly means it wasn’t a bipartisan decision that this is something in an election year we should move forward with.”
Since getting into office, the State of the Union has been some of the highest points in Trump’s presidency.
While the mainstream media ignores his accomplishments every day of the year, he is finally able to speak directly to the people.
Last year’s address came at the time where Democrats had forced the longest government shutdown in history over border wall funding.
Trump was able to give his side of the story during his speech, along with showcasing major policy wins like criminal justice reform, which has proven to be extremely popular in minority communities.
With his address coming on the heels of the impeachment fight, he will be sure to send a strong message that will be devastating to Nancy Pelosi and the rest of her party.
