Democrat’s radical policies are alienating voters in key demographics.
They’ll have no hope of recovering.
Nancy Pelosi trembled when she learned the two major groups of Democrats lost.
The Democratic Party used to be perceived as the party of the working man but their anti-business labor laws and regulations are hurting low income workers that changed voters’ views.
The Left has lost support with all working-class voters across the electorate, not just the white working class.
When Covid hit the Democrats elites moved to working from home, for most blue-collar jobs that wasn’t an option but they were told that their sacrifice was worthwhile.
Even with Covid over Democrats’ policies are still hurting lower income Americans with ever increasing inflation.
The clear disdain of the left has made Hispanic and blue-collar workers rethink their relationship with the Democratic Party.
When Joe Biden ran for president in 2020 two-thirds of the Hispanic vote was cast for him according to Bloomberg.
Now a new nationwide poll by Quinnipiac released last week puts Biden’s approval rating among Hispanics at just 26%.
“Upon entering office, FiveThirtyEight.com had Biden at 69 percent approval, so we’re talking a 43-percentage point drop in the span of 15 months,” The Hill reported. “And just 12 percent of Hispanics ‘approve strongly’ of Biden’s performance as president, while 54 percent ‘disapprove strongly’ or ‘disapprove somewhat.’”
A Wall Street Journal poll put Hispanics evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats in terms of their choice for Congress. 37% of Hispanic voters said they would support the Republican congressional candidate and 37% said they would favor the Democrat, with 22% still undecided.
“I think the single biggest reason is inflation,” Brad Bannon, a Democratic strategist, told the Washington Examiner when asked why Latino voters are shifting rightward. “Hispanic Americans are not happy because their income is not keeping up with inflation.”
He added, “Hispanic Americans have the same economic concerns that other Americans have, and it’s a big problem.”
Less educated Americans are shifting away from Democrats.
A Gallup poll released last month found that Biden has the most support since taking office among voters who never attended college while his most steady base is those who had attained postgraduate degrees.
The Democratic elite think they have the right to control the lives of lower income Americans.
Joe Biden told blue collar workers whose jobs he was targeting that they should “learn how to program” in 2019.
“I come from a family and an area where it’s coal mining in Scranton,” Biden told the audience. “Anybody who can go down 300-3,000 feet in a mine sure as hell can learn to program as well.”
Democrats are paying the political price for disrupting the lives of millions of Americans.
