The catastrophe on the southern border is getting worse by the day.
Biden has opened the floodgates to the worst immigration crisis in America’s history.
And now, one shocking border crisis prediction left Joe Biden speechless.
Nearly two years after taking office, Joe Biden has turned the situation on the southern border into an unimaginable disaster.
Under Donald Trump’s leadership, the border was secure and illegal border crossings were done.
But Biden has undone all of that in just a few years.
Worse yet, Biden has done more damage to America’s border security than even Barack Obama did, as month after month shows a new record in illegal border crossings.
Now, after nearly two years of helping to stoke a southern border crisis and then doing nothing to address the problem he helped to create, Biden is being accused to laying the groundwork for what could become the worst year in the history of illegal border crossings.
The Washington Examiner reports, “This year’s near invasion of immigrants over the southern border is about to get worse, according to an expert who has accurately predicted the recent surges under the Trump and Biden administrations. Steven Kopits, the president of Princeton Policy Advisors, said that he expects 2.6 million to cross the border next year, kicking off with a strong spring.”
The fact that estimates are now saying that over two and a half million illegal immigrants will cross the southern border next year is a testament to the spectacular failure of Joe Biden’s job when it comes to protecting America’s territorial integrity.
Biden owns this disaster, and now its about to get a lot worse.
“Kopits, who has advocated immigration reforms and a visa program based on the needs of American companies for workers, has been surprised by the continued surge of immigrants since President Joe Biden took office. He recently raised his 2022 prediction to 2.3 million, up from 2.1 million,” adds the Washington Examiner.
Biden’s mismanagement of America’s southern border has gotten so bad that even some of the most pessimistic estimates related to illegal border crossings have had to be revised upwards, which suggests that the Princeton Policy Advisors’ 2.6 million figure for 2023 could end up being significantly lower than what the final result will ultimately turn out to be.
“Customs and Border Protection reported 204,273 apprehensions at the U.S. southwest border for the month of October. This is comfortably the highest on record for the month, besting last year’s record by 28%. To put it in context, October’s apprehensions were more than double the third-highest October, set in 1999 under the Clinton administration,” said Kopits.
The flood of illegal migrants crossing the border at levels that have never been seen before indicates why communities along the border have shifted hard towards Republicans in recent years, with counties in southern Texas flipping to vote for Republicans in 2022 after spending decades supporting Democrats in state and federal elections.
Now, it’s only a matter of time until this shift shows signs of accelerating.
