To survive the impeachment witch hunt Donald Trump needs the support of every Republican.
Unfortunately the President found out one key member of the GOP just sold him out.
Now one top Republican just saw their career end because of this impeachment betrayal.
When RINO Senator Johnny Isakson announced he was retiring from the Senate and would step down by December 31, 2019, it set up a scramble to see who Georgia Governor Brian Kemp would appoint as Isakson’s replacement.
President Trump and his allies promoted Georgia Congressman Doug Collins as the ideal choice.
Collins hails from the most conservative district in Georgia and aggressively defended the President in Congress and on TV against the Democrats’ impeachment witch hunt.
Conservatives also supported Collins because he voted against red flag gun confiscation order legislation.
But Kemp thought he knew better than Donald Trump.
Kemp became enchanted with women’s professional basketball team owner and Mitt Romney loyalist Kelly Loeffler.
Loeffler was a Never Trump RINO that refused to donate one penny to Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign after stuffing $750,000 in Mitt Romney’s coffers during the 2012 election.
By refusing to donate to Donald Trump after supporting Mitt Romney, Loeffler effectively tried to help Hillary Clinton win the election.
But that was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of red flags surrounding Loeffler’s candidacy.
Loeffler stood arm in arm during the 2018 election cycle with rabidly anti-gun and pro-abortion socialist Stacey Abrams at an event during a women’s professional basketball game.
Loeffler honored Abrams on the court even though Abrams was in the middle of a gubernatorial election with Kemp.
The women’s professional basketball league Loeffler takes part in as owner is filled with radical homosexual political activists that disrespect President Trump by refusing to visit the White House supporting every radical left-wing cause under the sun.
Loeffler also participated in a league program whereby five percent of the proceeds of every ticket sold was donated to Planned Parenthood and other radical leftist groups.
All of these warning signs led Trump allies like Mark Levin and Sean Hannity to beg Kemp to reconsider appointing the RINO Loeffler – whose association with Romney led many Democrats to believe she will vote to convict the President on articles of impeachment – and instead tap Collins.
Kemp owes his entire political career to Donald Trump.
Kemp was an obscure candidate trailing in the gubernatorial primary when Trump endorsed him.
Trump’s endorsement propelled Kemp to victory and Kemp only won the general election because Trump dragged him across the finish line with numerous campaign appearances.
But now that Kemp defied the President and appointed a Mitt Romney style RINO, the President’s allies like Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz are saying Kemp should face defeat from a pro-Trump primary challenger when he runs for re-election in 2022.
