Paul Ryan was always a Never Trump RINO.
Now the American people are learning just what Ryan thought of Trump.
Paul Ryan schemed behind Trump’s back to plot one mind blowing betrayal.
In 2016 Paul Ryan was among the many pro-amnesty Republicans that expected – and hoped – that Donald Trump would lose to Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump’s candidacy served as a rejection of Paul Ryan , pro-open borders, pro-globalist trade deal establishment version of Republicanism that believes the GOP’s job is to serve as the Washington Generals and lose with “decency” and “politeness” to the Democrats Harlem Globetrotters.
When Trump stunned Ryan and won the election Ryan – who served as Speaker of the House at the time – thought Trump was mentally ill because he thought the Republican Party should fight against the Democrats, oppose amnesty and not accept losing to the left.
Bob Woodward and Robert Costa’s book “Peril” reported that Ryan began exchanging emails with a New York doctor – who was also a Republican dollar -who sent Ryan links about how Trump suffered from narcissistic personality disorder.
Ryan eventually agreed that Trump allegedly suffered from this disprer.
Business Insider reports:
According to the book, Ryan was caught off guard when Trump won the election in an enormous upset over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Republicans controlled the House and Senate, and Ryan, realizing that he would have to work with Trump, started researching how to deal with someone who is “amoral and transactional,” the book says.
A wealthy doctor in New York, who was also a Republican donor, contacted Ryan later and told him, “You need to understand what narcissistic personality disorder is,” according to the book.
“What?” Ryan asked, at which point the doctor sent the Wisconsin Republican an email detailing his “thoughts on how to best deal with a person with anti-social personality disorder,” Woodward and Costa reported. The email also included links to articles about the topic in The New England Journal of Medicine, and information from the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, 10th edition.
The book said that “Ryan studied them for weeks, convinced Trump had the personality disorder.”
Ryan spent his two years as Speaker of the House undermining Donald Trump.
As speaker, Ryan fought Trump behind the scenes at every turn to block Trump from building a border wall.
Ryan also falsely claimed Trump praised white supremacists at Charlottesville.
And just before the 2018 midterm, Ryan sabotaged the Republican Party by announcing he was retiring from Congress which sent a signal to Republican voters that it wasn’t worth showing up to vote because the party’s Congressional leaders considered the election lost months before the first vote was cast.
Paul Ryan was one of the poster children of the type of establishment Republican that repeatedly lied to conservatives about fighting for their values on the campaign trail only to go to Washington to sell out their voters by joining the swamp uniparty in supporting bigger government, open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens.
