There are still forces within the Republican Party working to tear down Donald Trump’s Presidency.
And these backstabbers see the coronavirus pandemic as a prime opportunity to exploit.
What this Republican said on MSNBC about the coronavirus could end their career.
Former George W, Bush staffer Nicolle Wallace hosts the “Deadline: White House” program on MSNBC.
Wallace fills the role of MSNBC “Republican” – she hates Trump and never disagrees with anything Democrats do – to a “T.”
During a recent broadcast Wallace invited on Biden campaign staffer and Obama Ebola czar Ron Klain on her show to discuss President Trump and the coronavirus pandemic.
Trump haters like Wallace think they can get away with anything,
There is no penalty for overheated rhetoric as long as it involves attacking Donald Trump.
Wallace let her stage four Trump Derangement Syndrome take over when Wallace told Klain that the coronavirus killing over 60,000 Americans was a good thing because it made Donald Trump look bad,.
“Ron Klain, there is something both tragic and pathetic and ironic about the fact that it took a color blind, gender blind, state line blind virus to sort of have all of the president’s sins from his first three years catch up with him,” Wallace said. “You can’t stand there and lie. You can’t contradict your scientists because they’re the ones that stand at 66 and 68% public trust, not you,” Wallace began.
“He’s down at 38%. Pence is lower than him. I mean, he needs those people whether he likes what they say or not. And I wonder what you think about whether or not there’s some silver lining there, that some of the things that we’ve been talking about for three years may be finally catching up with him,” Wallace concluded.
Had a Republican said the good thing about the Swine Flu outbreak of 2009 and 2010 was that 12,000 Americans died and it exposed Obama as an incompetent buffoon of a leader they would have been exiled from public life.
By all rights MSNBC should fire Nicolle Wallace.
There is no silver lining to a pandemic that claimed the lives of 60,000 Americans.
Donald Trump possibly paying a political price is not an upside to a viral outbreak.
Wallace’s comments make it clear the current state of fear, lockdowns, death and job losses is preferable to the March 1 status quo of a roaring economy with historical low levels of unemployment.
And since MSNBC’s audience feeds on hatred of Trump, Wallace will suffer no consequences and will hold an even more prominent position on the networks election coverage.
Wallace knows her job on MSNBC is to be a nominal Republican – she agrees with the Democrats on almost every issue and supports abortion, homosexual marriage, amnesty and gun control – so it looks like even Republicans hate Donald Trump.
