Ron DeSantis is fighting hard against the Democrats covid insanity.
He’s not about to let people be trapped in lockdowns forever.
Ron DeSantis made a vaccine statement that sent Dr. Fauci into a meltdown.
Democrats aren’t willing to follow the science when it goes against their political agenda.
White House senior medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci said that even fully vaccinated Americans should avoid eating indoors on Sunday to MSNBC.
“If you’re not vaccinated please get vaccinated as soon as vaccine becomes available to you, and if you are vaccinated, please remember that you still have to be careful and not get involved in crowded situations, particularly indoors where people are not wearing masks.” Fauci said.
The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have shown to be 95% and 94.1% effective.
Gov. Ron DeSantis said people who have received the vaccine shouldn’t feel the need to take protective measures against covid.
“I also think it’s a problem that people, where, you’re telling people to get a vaccine and yet people who have been vaccinated for months are wearing two masks,” DeSantis said, according to WESH.
“If the vaccine is effective, why would you be wearing two masks? Like some of these folks are doing. It doesn’t make sense.” he said.
“So, you know, my view is, if you get a vaccine, the vaccines are effective, you’re immune. And so act immune. If you tell people the opposite then, gee, if it’s not effective for them and it’s not gonna change anything, then what’s the point of going through it?” the governor asked.
Last weekYouTube removed a video of a public health roundtable discussion with DeSantis because doctors commented against mask mandates in schools.
The March 18 discussion, hosted by DeSantis, included Dr. Sunetra Gupta of Oxford University, Dr. Scott Atlas and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford, and Dr. Martin Kulldorff of Harvard Medical School.
Kulldorff said that children should not wear masks in schools, and Bhattacharya called it “developmentally inappropriate.”
“They don’t need it for their own protection, and they don’t need it for protecting other people, either.” Kulldorff said.
But YouTube pulled it because it went against CDC recommendations.
“All schools should implement and layer prevention strategies and should prioritize universal and correct use of masks and physical distancing.” the CDC’s guidance for K-12 schools states.
A spokesperson for DeSantis also criticized the move as a “blatant example of Big Tech attempting to silence those who disagree with theirwoke corporate agenda.”
“Good public health policy should include a variety of scientific and technical expertise, and YouTube’s decision to remove this video suppresses productive dialogue of these complex issues.” they said.
