Donald Trump entered 2020 as the favorite to win re-election.
But now all hell is breaking loose on the campaign trail.
Matters escalated when Rush Limbaugh told a terrible secret about how Democrats will beat Trump in 2020.
Democrats and their tag team partners in the fake news media popped champagne corks over the outbreak of the coronavirus.
They saw the outbreak of the mysterious Chinese virus and the corresponding stock market as an opportunity to take away Donald Trump’s two aces in the hole for his re-election campaign.
Democrats and the media talked up the possibility of a coronavirus triggered recession to deprive Trump of the ability to campaign on the historic economic boom the President’s policies ushered in.
Second, the fake news ramped up the pressure on Trump to cancel his mega rallies.
During a recent broadcast Rush Limbaugh explained to a caller why so-called “journalists” were so desperate to force Trump to shelve any plans for his campaign to stage re-election rallies.
Limbaugh told the caller that the left was desperate to stop Trump rallies because the rallies brought out supporters that were Democrats or did not vote in 2016.
“They have… Brad Parscale, who is the Trump campaign manager… They record, they categorize everybody at a Trump rally that will participate, and in just like the last five or six Trump rallies, you know how many have been Democrats? It’s 18,000,” Limbaugh began.
The fake news made a big stink the last three years that the President has not “expanded his base.”
When the fake news says that about a Republican what they really mean is that the Republican hasn’t agreed to pass the Democrat Party agenda.
But in Trump’s case, Limbaugh described how Trump was “expanding his base” by finding new voters or attracting Democrats repulsed by the party’s socialist drift.
“Democrats out the wazoo are showing up at Trump rallies. This is why they want these rallies stopped. This is why. It’s not because of public safety, not because of public health. Because — as you point out — they’re not making an effort to shut down every other opportunity for people to congregate,” Limbaugh added.
Democrats know they can’t beat Trump fair and square so they want to slant the electoral playing field in their favor by seizing on a crisis to deprive the President of one of his most potent weapons.
“No, but it makes perfect sense from their standpoint. If you can’t beat Trump and if you want to stop the appearance of excitement about the Trump campaign, then stop the rallies — and if you’re really worried about that so many people attending rallies are actually Democrats, then you’ve really gotta shut ’em down,” Limbaugh declared.
The 2020 election figures to be just as close as the 2016 campaign.
Both parties are looking for any advantage on the margins that they believe can swing the narrow slice of voters that will decide the election.
That’s why the fake news media pressured the Trump campaign so intensely to cancel their rallies.
