Fake news CNN long ago abandoned any pretense of being a news network.
That decision came back to bite them.
And now Sean Hannity just found out CNN got slapped with a massive $300 million lawsuit.
Appearing on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program famed Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz announced he was suing fake news CNN for $300.
“What CNN did here, and it pains me to say this because … I have friends over there, what they did is they just totally doctored the tape,” Dershowitz told Hannity.
On a podcast with Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Professor Dershowitz stated “The only thing that would make a quid pro quo unlawful is if the quo were in some way illegal.”
Dershowitz added, “If a president does something which he believes will help him get elected in the public interest, that cannot be the kind of quid pro quo that results in impeachment.”
In his lawsuit, Dershowitz claims fake news CNN selectively edited his quote by only playing the second part of his quote.
Dershowitz claimed fake news CNN editing his quote made him look like he ‘lost his mind.’
“If they had just shown the part where I said ‘if he does anything illegal he can be impeached,’ ” Dershowitz added. “But they doctored the tape to take that out.”
Dershowitz explained his lawsuit was necessary to hold fake news CNN accountable and end the media politics of personal destruction.
“I’m doing this to hold them accountable,” Dershowtiz continued. “They made a deliberate, willful decision, we believe from the very top, to purposely doctor the tape to make it look like I said something that was crazy, that a president can do anything, that he can commit crimes. Of course I never said that — I don’t believe it. I spent an hour in front of the Senate two days earlier saying if the president commits a crime, he can be impeached and that was a whole thesis of my presentation.”
Dershowtiz finished up by telling Hannity that fake news CNN needed to pay for willfully misrepresenting his words.
“CNN knew that and they doctored the tape and edited the tape to make me say exactly the opposite. Shame on them,” Dershowitz stated. “They’re going to have to pay and some good charities are going to benefit from CNN’s willful deliberate malicious effort to destroy my credibility as a constitutional scholar.”
Professor Dershowtiz used to be a star in the liberal legal establishment.
But Dershowitz took the principled position of defending Donald Trump during the Democrats impeachment hoax so the fake news assassins of truth at CNN tried to destroy him.
