Sean Hannity is the biggest star at Fox News and one of President Trump’s biggest supporters.
Both of those facts infuriate the fake news media, which is always scheming to ruin Hannity’s career.
And now Sean Hannity may have to quit Fox News for this crazy reason.
Recently a federal judge unsealed 56 pages worth of text messages between former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Sean Hannity.
The messages showed Hannity offering his support to Manafort during his trial.
Hannity attacked Special Counsel Robert Mueller as a vindictive Deep State rogue out to get Manafort because of his connections to President Trump.
The two also discussed how Mueller planned to target the President.
Manafort told Hannity that Mueller “would want me to give up” Donald Trump or his family in order to plead to lesser charges and receive a lighter jail sentence.
“The media is trying to split me with DT and family by lies and untruths,” Manafort added.
When Manafort told Hannity he believed that Mueller set his sights on Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner in order to force the President to sit for an interview, Hannity responded that would never work.
“He won’t agree,” Hannity told Manafort. “The lawyers will fight tooth and nail. Proffered agreement. All pre planned.”
Critics were outraged by the texts between Hannity and Manafort.
They claimed it showed an unethical relationship between a journalist and a subject of the news.
Some went so far as to claim Fox News should take Hannity off the air.
Hannity defended the text messages by noting that nothing he said to Manafort was any different than what he told his viewers on a nightly basis.
“My view of the Special Counsel investigation and the treatment of Paul Manafort were made clear every day to anyone who listens to my radio show or watches my TV show,” Hannity wrote.
Hannity is close to President Trump.
The two often talk and jealous White House insiders have called Hannity a “shadow” Chief of Staff.
Hannity’s relationship with President Trump also makes him an even bigger target for the left.
The Fox News host’s enemies in the media – most notably at CNN – attacked his text messages with Manafort as an act of hypocrisy.
Media reporter Oliver Darcy wrote, “What I find interesting is that those on the right often accuse “the media” of working hand-in-hand with the Democratic Party. And here, we have an example of the most prominent conservative personality on Fox doing EXACTLY THAT with a Republican operative…”
This type of chatter won’t die down any time soon.
In addition to wanting to hurt President Trump, the media targets Hannity with hit pieces like this because he is the number one rated host on the most watched news channel on cable TV.
Bringing down Hannity would help ruin Fox News.
And that is something the entire liberal media wants to see happen.
Conservative Revival will keep you up to date on any new developments in the left-wing media’s attempts to bring down Sean Hannity and Fox News.
