Obama’s foreign policy in the Middle East was horrendous.
It weakened both America’s security and its reputation.
Ted Cruz just revealed a conspiracy to bring down Obama’s treasonous mistake.
Obama’s foreign policies hurt America.
Not just his “minor gaffes” like when it was revealed that he had approved tapping German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s phone.
But where it really counted, in the Middle East, his policies were disastrous.
In the 2012 Benghazi attack, the U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens was killed in an attack that was entirely preventable had proper security been in place.
Another place where proper security was not put in place was the 2015 nuclear agreement that the Obama administration signed with Iranian leaders.
Giving Iran money to set back their nuclear program without sufficient safeguards to make sure that they have truly stopped is just giving Iran free cash.
As part of the deal, America gave Iran $1.7 billion dollars in cash and freed up another $56 billion dollars that had been frozen in overseas accounts.
Just weeks after Trump withdrew the USA from the deal, Iran was caught trying to stockpile more uranium hexafluoride than it was allowed to keep.
But now Ted Cruz has warned that members of the deep state are trying to bring the defunct deal back.
“I am here to tell you the deep state is alive and well and has circled the barricades around Washington, D.C. And the number one objective of the deep state at the department of State, at the department of Treasury, is to preserve the disastrous Obama Iran nuclear deal,” Cruz said at the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C.
What could be the motive of such nefarious conduct?
“Their overarching objective is to prevent this administration from dismantling the Iran deal completely because they believe one of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates is going to win,” Cruz said.
A Democratic win in 2020 would reverse every single positive change that Donald Trump has made during his time as President.
Do you think that getting out of the Iranian nuclear deal was good for America?
