From day one this has been Joe Biden’s biggest vulnerability in the polls as Americans consistently gave Biden his lowest approval numbers on the border.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz appeared on Sean Hannity’s show and blasted Biden for this failure, which was in reality the stated policy of the administration.
Cruz explained Biden’s open borders policies were life threatening calamities citing the horror story of 50 illegal aliens suffocating and dying from heat in the back of trailer cartels used to smuggle them into America.
Cruz also pointed out that Biden’s open borders agenda allowed cartels to traffic massive amounts of deadly fentanyl into America helping push the number of drug overdoses in America to a record 108,000.
“The body bags are piling up. We saw just a few weeks ago over 50 illegal immigrants in a tractor trailer outside of San Antonio die of heat exposure, including kids as young as 13. Last year, we had 100,000 people die of drug overdoses with this fentanyl explosion. And the Joe Biden body bags keep getting worse and worse and worse. And Sean, the only good thing of all of this horror is it’s opening people’s eyes.” Cruz stated.
Cruz added that Americans were fed up with Joe Biden’s open borders policies and would punish Democrats at the ballot box in November.
A new Republican majority – Cruz continued – would then impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for overseeing this catastrophe and Mayorkas would then stand trial in the Senate.
“I think November is going to be a red tidal wave. I think South Texas is going to turn red. And if and when Republicans retake Congress, I believe one of the very first priorities is that we should impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. I think the House will do that. And the Senate needs to conduct a trial. We need to put on a trial, and put on the evidence of the people [who] are suffering and dying as a result of Joe Biden’s dereliction of duty.” Cruz concluded.
