Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is in deep trouble.
Her infighting with the leadership of her party is just the beginning of her problems.
These gigantic new lawsuits may bring down Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for good.
This is not the first time that Ocasio-Cortez has found herself in trouble with the law.
The freshman congresswoman has already had many allegations of campaign finance fraud.
Including the accusation that the Brand New Congress PAC funneled money to Ocasio-Cortez paying her boyfriend to do “work.”
She has managed to dodge the consequences for her overhanded money dealings so far now she has a new legal challenge that she must face.
The tech savvy millennial has become a fixture on Twitter. Known for her inflammatory tweets.
Her tweets have ranged from ridiculous to insulting.
She posted that since no one had come up with a better solution for climate change than The Green New Deal she got to be in charge.
She also accused President Trump on Twitter of running concentration camps on the border that were killing children and families.
But her Twitter habits may be her downfall.
Her pattern of blocking people who disagree with her on the platform has caused both a Democratic and Republican candidate to bring lawsuits against her.
Former New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind, a Democrat, told Fox News on Tuesday of his plans to sue Ocasio-Cortez for blocking him and others who disagree.
“I have decided, after speaking with my legal counsel, to initiate a lawsuit against her for blocking me and a host of other public figures,” the Democrat announced.
“Ocasio-Cortez is acting cowardly and should be ashamed of her attempts to silence me. I’ve done nothing but address her ignorance and disregard for the truth. She constantly brags about the millions of followers she has but is afraid of my speech,” he continued. “She is a hypocrite.”
Hikind added, “I’m looking forward to the day where she has to unblock me so that free speech in America is guaranteed even when it offends!”
The lawsuits come after a court ruled that Trump didn’t have the right to block people of Twitter because he used it as a means of conducting his job as the President of America , therefore he could not block people from reading his posts.
If one rule applies to Trump it should apply to Ocasio-Cortez as well.
But Trump is always held to a higher standard than the Democrats think should be applied to them.
Let’s see how Ocasio-Cortez likes it now that the law is being applied to her.
Do you think Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is violating the First Amendment by blocking her critics on Twitter?
