Former Congressman Trey Gowdy is the Deep State’s worst nightmare.
Even after leaving office earlier this year, Gowdy continues to dig for the truth.
And now, he just blew the whole lid off of the biggest FBI scandal of the decade.
Trey Gowdy made a name for himself while in Congress as being a no-nonsense tough guy who was focused on getting answers and pursuing the truth no matter the cost.
But since leaving office, Gowdy has squashed all talk that he would fade into obscurity.
That’s because he continues to be a strong advocate for uprooting the corruption that plagues Washington D.C. and many of the federal agencies that worked to try and stop President Donald Trump’s election in 2016.
Among those is the massive scandal that is playing out within the FBI at the moment.
Since taking office, President Trump has faced security failures, leaks, and plots to undermine his presidency from within the FBI.
And the FBI was even implicated in attempts to stop Trump from winning the White House in the first place.
All of this is too much for Gowdy.
He’s grown tired of watching the Deep State get away with their attempts to undermine this President.
And he’s demanding answers.
“Former South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy urged the release of FBI transcripts Sunday that he indicated were taken from conversations a bureau informant had during the 2016 presidential campaign with former Trump adviser George Papadopoulos,” reports the Daily Caller.
This could be the beginning of a major revelation that could finally blow apart the Deep State’s attempts to take over the FBI.
“Gowdy, the former chairman of the House Oversight Committee, also said there are likely to be additional transcripts of FBI informant contacts with Trump aides,” adds the Daily Caller.
Gowdy has been battling these people for years.
He knows that the President was elected in spite of their efforts to derail his campaign.
And even after leaving office, he has remained a staunch advocate of unearthing the truth behind the Deep State’s plot to destroy President Trump.
“For the transcript to be released, President Donald Trump or Attorney General William Barr would have to declassify the document. Trump has said for months he plans to declassify a slew of documents related to the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign, but on May 23 he ceded that authority to Barr, who is leading an investigation into government surveillance activities directed at Trump associates,” concludes the Daily Caller.
This is exactly what Gowdy is now calling for.
William Barr has the ability to shine a light on the truth.
And with the Attorney General showing signs that he is now about to play offense after defending the President from baseless attacks from Democrats for most of the year, the American people may be on the verge of getting that truth at last.
