Americans went to bed last night not knowing who the President was.
As the results were rolling in, President Trump spoke to the nation.
And Donald Trump made one promise about the election that made the Supreme Court nervous.
Donald Trump spoke to the nation around 2AM this morning hours after Americans tried to digest the results from an election the likes no one had ever seen.
President Trump addressed the public as vote tallies showed him leading in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin and Michigan.
Authorities in these states stopped counting votes for the night which led the President and many of his supporters to suspect Democrats engaged in shenanigans to win the vote.
To protect the integrity of the election President Trump vowed to contest the results to the Supreme Court.
“This is a major fraud on our nation. We want the law to be used in a proper manner,” President Trump told the public. “So we will be going to the U.S. Supreme Court.”
President Trump proved prophetic when he wanted Americans against Democrats discovering ballots in the dead of night to tip the election in Joe Biden’s favor.
“We don’t want them to find any ballots at 4:00 a.m. in the morning and add them to the list, okay?” President Trump stated.
And that may be exactly what happened.
Democrat officials in Michigan discovered 138,339 ballots where every single vote went to Joe Biden.
That shrunk President Trump’s margin in the state from over 200,000 votes to just over 70,000.
President Trump cautioned the public that bitter Democrats – that refused to accept the results of the 2016 election – were now trying to rob Americans of their right to legitimately pick their leaders.
“A very sad group of people is trying to disenfranchise that group of people and we won’t stand for it,” President Trump added.
The President also predicted victory in the Supreme Court saying that he had already won the election by any reasonable standard.
“We will win this, and as far as I’m concerned we already have won it.” President Trump vowed.
Heading in to the election some forecasters predicted the election could end up in the Supreme Court.
Conservatives like Texas Senator Ted Cruz pushed to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court so that way it could fully function with nine justices.
Many Trump supporters warned that a Supreme Court with only eight justices could not fairly decide any election related cases.
That proved to be prophetic as the results in key states could come down if the Supreme Court will allow Democrat states to count mail in ballots that arrived after election day.
