But Tucker Carlson sounded the alarm that democracy could fall due to the fact that voters continually vote for one set of policies and elected officials ignore their wishes.
Carlson cited anti-gun RINO Texas Senator John Cornyn eviscerating the Second Amendment with the biggest gun grab in the last 30 years.
Under Cornyn’s gun grab the government can strip you of your Second Amendment rights if you made a mistake as juvenile – even if the offense occurred decades in the past, got in an argument on a date, or even committed no crime at all and just posted pictures of firearms on social media and expressed conservative political views.
John Cornyn represents Texas, which is thought of as one of the most conservative and pro-gun states in America.
Carlson mentioned that Cornyn and RINOs from red states like Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia – who helped Biden surge inflation by handing Biden a win on a $1.2 trillion-dollar fake infrastructure bill – and Joni Ernst of Iowa were not representing their conservative constituents.
“Now, many Republican senators such as Joni Ernst and Shelley Capito are reportedly voting yes on the bill. Hard to believe that’s true but apparently it is. Senator John Cornyn, the lead Republican negotiator who’s gone far left in recent years, is currently celebrating on the Senate floor because, again, only Ukrainians are allowed to have guns. Cornyn was just seen shaking hands with Chuck Schumer. Is he representing the folks of Texas? No.” Carlson told viewers.
Carlson described Cornyn’s gun grab – that RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell “blessed” as the most “brazen sellout” of the conservative base that Carlson had ever seen.
That presented a danger to democracy and America as Carlson warned that the “stem will collapse” if elected officials stopped representing their voters.
“Has there ever been a greater more brazen sellout of any group of voters than what Republican Senators Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn and the rest are doing right now? Talk about a subversion of democracy. If they keep this up the system will collapse. You have to represent the interest of your voters. That’s why you’re there.” Carlson concluded.
