The January 6 Committee is a direct assault on the American constitutional system of government.
Committee members ran a show trial straight out of Joseph Stalin’s Russia that undermined the rule of law, shredded the Constitution and attacked American’s fundamental civil liberties.
But now Tucker Carlson heard an update on the January 6 Committee that will change everything.
Former Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon became the first American since the Hollywood Ten in 1948 – Hollywood writers that refused to tell the House Un-American Activities Committee if they were communists – convicted of contempt of Congress.
Bannon stood trial after the kangaroo court January 6 Committee referred him for criminal prosecution for defying a subpoena on the grounds of executive privilege.
Joe Biden’s highly political Justice Department readily agreed and indicted Bannon.
Hours after his conviction, Bannon appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show for his first interview.
Carlson slammed the committee and singled out Never Trump RINO Adam Kinzinger for special criticism as Carlson told viewers Kinzinger was a “sad, tormented tiny man with a miserable personal life.”
As the interview began, Carlson asked Bannon – who was the first American in 74 years convicted of contempt of Congress – how it felt to see a man who attempted to assassinate New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin free with no bail within hours.
“A guy who tried to murder a gubernatorial candidate in New York was released with no bail. What are we to make of these two events occurring the same day?” Carlson wondered.
Bannon responded that the Democrats no cash bail law in New York at political prosecution of Trump supporters at the federal level showed Democrats were a rogue and lawless political party.
“As you can tell, the Democrats are completely lawless and look how they’ve run this committee,” Bannon declared.
Bannon then took a shot at the illegal nature of the January 6 Committee noting that “there is no ranking member.”
There is no ranking member because House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy pulled all his selections when Nancy Pelosi refused to seat Congressmen Jim Jordan and Jim Banks out of the fear their talent for communication and investigation would expose the sham committee for what it was.
Bannon then warned the January 6 Committee members that a new Republican majority would turn the tables.
Republicans would then investigate the involvement of FBI informants in the events of January 6 as well as the unconstitutional conduct of the committee.
“We need a commission or committee on Jan. 6,” Bannon added. “It’s got to be with the new Congress, with the Republicans in charge. We’ve got to get to the bottom of the intelligence failures, FBI involvement, DHS involvement, the intelligence services.”
“We’ve got to get to the bottom of it,” Bannon stated.
