William Barr is fighting for his political life as Democrats try to take him down.
They’re furious that he’s keeping them from framing Trump with fake crimes.
Is William Barr going to be impeached next? One top Democrat thinks so.
The Democrats are acting like William Barr is acting illegally because he’s doing his job correctly.
Roger Stone’s sentencing recommendation was much higher than has been given out recently for similar cases of misleading Congress.
William Barr was planning on correcting it, Trump tweeted about the case on Twitter, and the left media lost their minds.
William Barr, far from being Trump’s unthinking minion, went on ABC News and said that Trump’s Twitter commentary about ongoing cases made “it impossible for me to do my job.”
Elizabeth Warren is trying to breathe life into her dying campaign by calling for Barr to be impeached.
“You know,” she said to CNN’s Anderson Cooper, “right in front of our eyes, we are watching a descent into authoritarianism. And this just seems like a moment to me everybody should be speaking up.”
“Understand, right now,” Warren continued, “we should all be calling for the attorney general to resign. What Barr has done should mean that we are demanding a resignation, and if that guy won’t resign, then the House should start impeachment proceedings against him.”
As The Washington Examiner commented:
Never mind that the rules about impeaching the attorney general are, at best, gray. Never mind that no one has investigated whether the Justice Department’s Stone reversal is even an impeachable offense. Never mind all that. Warren, a legal professional who should know better, has blown past those minor details, going straight to the “resign or be impeached” phase because, well, she is trying to win a presidential primary.
That is not her only act of desperation this week. Warren also reiterated her promise Wednesday that she would assemble a task force to investigate and prosecute President Trump and his cohort when they are out of office.
Does she think that Obama’s attorney general, Eric Holder, should have resigned when he lied and wouldn’t hand over documents to Congress because he was trying to obstruct the investigation of ‘Fast & Furious’ where Obama gave thousands of guns to Mexican drug cartels with the hope of tracing them?
And what about Obama’s other attorney general, Loretta Lynch, who met with Bill Clinton in the middle of the Clinton email scandal and was so biased in her recommendations that James Comey decided to act independently.
The Democrats attack Trump when they have done far worse themselves.
And while Elizabeth Warren is the most extreme, she’s not alone.
ABC News is reporting that 1,100 former DOJ officials are asking for Barr to be removed as if that’s surprising news.
The Justice Department currently employs 113,114 people. Finding less than 1% of people who want Barr removed is hardly noteworthy.
The Democrats and the mainstream media want to twist every fact and every piece of data into an underhanded attack.
The Conservative Revival will keep you updated on any updates in this ongoing case.
