But at the heart of the bill is $124 million dollars to hire 87,000 new IRS agents.
This new strike force will target middle class Americans with millions of IRS audits.

That’s because the IRS disproportionately targets low-income Americans when it conducts tax audits each year. In fact, households with less than $25,000 in earnings are five times as likely to be audited by the agency than everyone else, according to a recent analysis of tax data from fiscal year 2021 by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) at Syracuse University.
The reason for that is a rise in what is known as “correspondence audits,” meaning the IRS conducts reviews of tax returns via letters or phone calls rather than more complex face-to-face audits. Just a fraction — 100,000 of the 659,000 audits in 2021 – were conducted in person.
According to the Syracuse study, more than half of the correspondence audits initiated by the IRS last year — 54% — involved low-income workers with gross receipts of less than $25,000 who claimed the earned income tax credit, an anti-poverty measure.
One of the lies Democrats always tell is that they can fund their socialist welfare schemes only by taxing the wealthy.
A 2021 analysis found that if you taxed all 550 billionaires in America for 100 percent of their wealth you would raise enough money to fund the government for just eight months.
The only way for Democrats to raise the revenue necessary to impose socialism on America is to tax the middle class.
But taxing the middle class is politically unpopular.
That’s why when Joe Biden campaigned for president he claimed under his tax plan no American making less than $400,000 would pay “one penny” more in taxes.
This legislation breaks that promise by raising taxes on virtually all Americans.
However, that is not how Biden plans to soak the middle class and small business owners to fund his socialist agenda.
Instead, Biden will sic his 87,000 new IRS agents on middle income Americans and mom and pop business owners like a pack of crazed dogs digging through their tax returns and filing audit after audit.
These new audits are the backdoor tax increase on the middle-class Joe Biden will use to impose socialism on America.
