Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez keeps making the same mistake over and over again.
The result always ends up the same.
And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s insult of Ron DeSantis instantly blew up in her face.
Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez was among the many on the left trying to dunk on Ron DeSantis after the botched launch to his presidential campaign.
DeSantis planned to announce his candidacy on Twitter Spaces with Elon Musk.
But a few hundred thousand people signing on to listen caused the servers to crash and it resulted in an embarrassing 20-minute delay where elevator music played.
When the space resumed, around 300,000 people were listening in with the peak audience reaching a little over 500,000.
But Ocasio-Cortez tried to belittle the event by claiming more people signed on to watch a livestream of her playing video games.

Once the spaces got underway, DeSantis honed in on the highlights of his successful record in Florida –such as the winning effort to expel woke ideology from the state’s schools.
“We eliminated critical race theory from our K through 12 schools, that was the right thing to do … We’re also not going to be teaching people to hate their country, but what we are going to do is teach the accurate history. So in the same bill that banned Critical Race Theory, we required teaching thoroughly about racial discrimination that occurred in American history,” DeSantis stated.
Polling data showed that DeSantis – and Donald Trump – may end up with the last laugh over Ocasio-Cortez and Joe Biden.
A new Marquette Law School poll shows Trump leading Biden by 5 points and DeSantis by 6 points.

And polling data from Fox News shows exactly why Trump and DeSantis are both holding leads outside the margin of error over Biden.
According to Fox News’s poll, just 20 percent of Americans believe Joe Biden’s policies improved their lives, while 48 percent say his policies have made their lives worse.
And only seven percent of independents say Biden’s policies made their lives better, with a whopping 57 percent saying Biden actively made their lives worse.
Republicans are more than happy to debate Biden’s record on runaway inflation, open borders, risking nuclear war with Russia, and rampant crime.
That explains why Ocasio-Cortez and the corporate media are so focused on the technical difficulties from DeSantis’s campaign launch – they need to avoid all discussion of Joe Biden’s abysmal record.
